In the summer of 2001, we took off for a long weekend in Key West. We flew to Miami, rented a car, and drove down the Keys to Key West. We stayed at the Westin resort, one of the old original hotels in Key West. The weather was hot, but we had a great time anyway. |

We traveled to Montpelier, France, for the wedding of Amy's cousin Jessica to Josart, a Frenchman from Zaire. It was a very interesting wedding, seeing the American and Zairian cultures side by side. It was also Eric's first time going to Europe. On the way home we spent some time in Paris. |
